Phew! I've finally finish blogging all the things i have done during the last few weeks! Haven't been blogging about my thoughts or updating what i've been doing cause all my posts are so narrative! so this post wld be super random.. writing what comes to my mind :D
So first up.. tmr is Thanksgiving! which means holiday!! 28th is also a holiday which means a total of 4 days free.. from 27th Nov - 30th Nov. Would be heading up to Vancouver with Noon and Cynthea :D:D wld have really wish to celebrate Thanksgiving in an American home as it wld be a very new experience for me.. did not receive any invitation till just now when one of my loft mate ask me whether i want to follow her home.. but too bad i have already have plans and this wld be my last chance to head up to Vancouver..
Thanksgiving seems like a major major holiday here.. and it did make my schedule for the week go haywire.. lol.. but can be considered a good thing bah.. Because of Thanksgiving, classes are being cancelled, assignments due dates are being changed.. I’m was a little confused of my timetable for this wk.. Seems like classes revolved around holidays and requests from students.. lol.. in Singapore, such things would never happen..
Thanksgiving also means turkey and pumpkin pie.. been having them here lately cause the dining hall would sell them.. and talking of dining hall.. because of the holiday, they close so early.. leaving us international students who have no where to go with nothing to eat.. so have to eat instant noodle lor..
anws.. my stay in Seattle is coming to an end soonn.. in a little more then 2 weeks.. that means exams are coming soon~ i'm glad i was able to visit so many places in so short a time.. much more then most ppl wld during their stay here and maybe more then some locals! i'm still left with 2-3 places on my list of places to go and i wld have to squeeze in time in my busy schedule for my last 2 weeks here.. but i'm happy i'm able to find the balance and handle both work and play at the same time :D not one over the other..
And i realise i like the sunshine! :D everytime it rains it feels so gloomy.. and with the end of daylight saving.. it get dark by 5pm.. and initially it felt so wierd to be walking into class when there is sunshine and ending class and walking back to the loft in the dark.. but i've gotten used to it and not that affected by how early the day ends.. (cos with darkness means i've to stay indoors earlier.. and 5pm would feel like 8pm..)
Lately the weather has been good with lots of sunshine.. so between classes, i wld ensure i'm out and about! why waste the beauty around me! with the mountains, clear blue sky, sunshine!
Like today i was walking to my lecture and Mt. Rainier was so clear and visible from Red Square! i couldn't even see this when i was here in September.. beautiful!
And something i took on my way back to the loft after lecture at 4.50p.m.. nice!

oh and all the ppl in the loft have finally gotten their room assignment for the next quarter! glad that they are no longer in temp. housing! :D but sad that i never got the chance to experience real dorm life.. looking forward to helping Sila and Rita move in to their new room :D
