Pioneer Square + Vietnamese Lunch

26th October 2008 (Sun): Trip to Pioneer Square - Underground Tour

Today was a day to ice-skate but Cynthea was not feeling well so change of plans :)
Sila, Rita and I decided to go eat the Vietnam food that is highly recommended by Sila and then go to Pioneer Square to take the famous Underground Tour.
We took our time leaving the loft and ended up having a late lunch.. like at around 1 plus..

We ordered a 7 course beef meal, pork satay and a crepe to eat. The food was delicious! And not forgetting healthy~ cos there was vege to wrap the meat.. yummy! Hee.. we also had desert and I chose to eat ginger mousse -_- dunno why I choose that.. it took some time to get use to the ginger taste but after that it was fine :) rita got some pudding and sila got coconut gelatin

dun think i wld get a chance to go to that part of Seattle..

By the time we ate finish it was already 3.30p.m and we were so full.. took a bus to pioneer square and bought the 5pm underground tour. The 1 hour before the tour was spent exploring Pioneer Square.. visited a toy shop, the Waterfall Garden Park and Elliot Bay Book Company. The Underground tour was ok.. just about the history of Pioneer Square and how this part of the town was built up one storey after the massive fire that burnt all the wood buildings..
