Election Day!

4th Nov 2008 (Tue): Election Day!!

Exciting day here… even though on campus it was relatively quiet.. I think there was so gathering in downtown and on campus to watch the election results. As for me, after lessons at 1.20p.m, I immediately went back to the loft and watch CNN! Kind of watch all the way till the results were announced :p and yay! Obama wow!! Haha… hope the change would come~ and I hope ppl don’t pin their hopes too high..

Anw… I was amazed with the technology used by CNN to broadcast the news (or maybe its just me) they were able to kind of ‘teleport’ a reporter from Chicago to New York! Just like Star Wars! The hologram was very clear! Cool rite!

After the results were announced, about 1000 students had a parade around campus, celebrating the win.. they were also shouting “We want change!” and “Obama!” woo~

Side note: I finally receive my new back pack!!! Whee~ my old back pack gave way so have to get a new one cause it is easier to walk around with a back pack here. After looking around and having been influence by Joel with his back pack selection when he was looking for one (but his criteria for a back bag is very logical) :p I finally decided on a North Face Bag! But I ordered online so that it would be cheaper~ but I waited 2 wks for it though.. by that time my old back pack was really breaking liao..
