Cheesecake Factory and Movie!!

25th Nov (Tue): Movie Time! (Twilight)

yay! finally fulfilling my wish to watch a movie in Seattle.. :D not many nice movies to watch during this period of time..

At first i was not very keen on watching Twilight cause i have not read the book.. Twilight is a movie that is adapted from a teenage storybook (series though.. so the movie wld have more sequel) and is abt the love story between a vampire and a normal gal.. the story in the book is set in Washington itself! but the movie is filmed in Portland..

The books and the movie is very popular here in the US.. feels like harry potter again.. everyone reading the book.. movie wld be out in Singapore on 18th Dec!

We (me, rita and cynthea) went to a small cinema near UW to watch it.. we bought a packet of popcorn to share and it was quite cool cause there are different flavor powder like cheddar cheese, sour cream, white cheese etc (total of abt 10 flavors) to sprinkle on ur popcorn.. Singapore should have this!! so we won't just have the normal butter or salted popcorn..

and if u dun noe.. the cinemas here are free sitting!!

Overall i feel the movie was better then what i expected it to be.. even though the reviews here say that the movie is over rated.. maybe because i have yet to read the book bah (just started!) see whether i wld change my opinion of it..

After the movie, we went to this mexican place that was along the Ave to have dinner.. we shared a mexican pizza between the 3 of us! nice!

23rd Nov (Sun): Cheesecake Factory!

There’s a famous cheesecake shop in Seattle called ‘The Cheesecake Factory’ and the 3 of us (as usual is me, Sila and Rita) went there to have lunch and try their cheesecake!

The restaurant was located in downtown and as were waiting for the bus, I finally got to take a photo of the Ave (and of course with me in it :p )

The interior of the restaurant is very nice.. esp the ceilings..

I ordered chicken and shrimp pasta, Rita ordered salmon and Sila ordered pasta with Cajun shrimp..

My pasta was quite nice but the portion was huge.. so by the time I eat finish, I was too full for cheesecake :( same for Sila and Rita too.. so we take away our cheesecake!

Hee.. me being greedy and dunno when I would come back again, I bought 2! :D Cause our cheesecake was takeaway.. by the time we reach the loft, our cheesecake had time to wobble around the box and no longer look pretty..
