31st October 2008 (Fri): Halloween!!!
My Halloween was actually quite boring because I had to spend some time studying for my exams on Mon so that I could enjoy my trip to Portland. Initially I wanted to dress up but in the end I did not cause no one to pei wo.. hee.. my other American loft mates did though, some as a firewomen, fairies etc.. but more on the sexy side. Some people did come to lessons dressed up but I didn’t take any photos..
The most exciting part of Halloween for me was the Haunted House organized by Hansee Hall! Hansee Hall itself is so old that it can be considered spooky.. it is just so appropriate to hold the Haunted Hall at Hansee Hall itself.

Rita and I had to wait for 2+ hours before our turn but as we are living in Hansee Hall, we could use that time to do other stuff like take a shower. For the other people, they had to wait at the lounge and activities were organized for them. The activities include lessons on waltz or some dancing, Wii and board games, and even old black and white Halloween Movies.

Finally it was our turn and we joined this other group of 5 people to enter the Haunted House. Rita and I ended up walking at the back but it was not take bad to cover the end. The front people got most of the ‘attack’ and they were screaming like mad.. ahha and we were screaming and laughing at the same time.

Overall, I can say that this is the best Haunted House I ever been too.. so much better then the one organized by Crescent or SAJC. The committee really paid a lot of attention to the details and they were able to make use of all the furniture in the room.. even the 2 Grand Pianos.. The place was not completely dark so we could see the details but yet we could still be scared by them. Some of them even blended into the walls etc. Too bad we were kind of brisk walking through it and running away from all the actors to really look at all the stuff.. If given the chance, I wld definitely want to go again and stand in front..
