7th Nov 2008 (Fri): CSA Dumpling Night
CSA stands for Chinese Student Association and is one of the student association in UW. (there are so many in UW, for all race, religion and groups) I had to pay $3 entrance fee cause I did not buy their membership, whereas Rita got in for free. The dumpling was made by whoever attended the event and wanted to learn how to make dumpling. These dumpling would then be boiled and distributed to those who attended. In total me and Rita when for 3 helpings :p so around 15 dumplings in total for each of us :p The movie ‘Kungfu Hustle’ was shown and there was also a competition to see who can eat the dumplings the fastest.

Rainy Day!!!! :( Finally took out the thickest coat I brought to Seattle cause we’ll be going to the beach at Discovery Park and with the rain there wld be strong winds..
but why must it rain.. else the view would be so nice.. We basically stood along the beach and the TA tried explaining to us why the surrounding structure is such.. and we walk along the beach.. before gg back to the van and back to school. A very short field trip.. but lucky got my coat to keep me warm. But my jean was totally soak..
Reached back to the loft and as it was the first thurs of the month, admission to most museums are free! Headed down to Experience Music Project (EMP) which had free admission from 5pm-9pm.. Remember seeing this building in PF1102?

It’s designed by Frank Gehry!
(hee.. just took the picture from the web cause i didn't have the chance to take one myself)Lucky we got in free, cause half of the display in EMP was related to rock music and a guitar gallery. Didn’t know anyone or any music from that genre. We did play around with the Interactive Exhibitions.. playing with different instruments and equipments. Part of the building also houses the Science Friction Museum and at least I found that more interesting. Got to see a life size Ninja Turtle! And Yoda from Star Wars! Also got exhibits from Star Trek, Star Wars and other science friction stuff. No photos taken cause no photo taking in museum. :(We walk finish EMP in a little over 1 hour and headed back to the loft after buying Korean food for dinner :D
Only photo we took inside EMP.. the main lobby and there was a group playing some music..
