30th November 2008 (Sun)
Finally no rain as the weather forecast predicted! Lucky we push back our plans to go to one of the main attractions to today :):) where we are gg? the Capilano Suspension Bridge!
The bridge is located at the North of Vancouver (within Greater Vancouver) and we wld need to take a SeaBus before transferring to a bus to reach there. Total travelling time is just slightly less than an hour. :)
So we took a bus from near our hostel to the SeaBus terminal.
The street near our hostel:

The SeaBus Terminal (which is also the terminal for the SkyTrain)
Along the bridge to take the boat..
On the floor of the terminal was a glimpse of what we could expect of the Capilano Bridge!
We finally reach the attraction (free admission again because of our tourism card) :):)
After gg through the gate, and getting our hands stamped, we took photos with some exhibits, and got to know abt the history of the bridge. And there were totem poles as usual :)

And ta-da! the bridge! impressive!
We took quite a while to get across the bridge.. cause we were keep taking photos :p and also the bridge is quite long. Not that scary though.. even though the bridge did swing with people walking on it, it did not felt like it was gg to break or that you are up high in the air. In fact, i felt very safe! no difference from being on solid ground.
Views from the bridge:
Other then the bridge itself, there were also nature trails, treetop walk and boardwalk through the rainforests that awaited us at the other end of the bridge.
Nature trails:

Treetop Adventure:

Cliffhanger Walk (boardwalk) that led to an observation deck where we could look out to see the suspension bridge:

As we were walking through the park, Cynthea suggested taking artistic photos and all 3 of us soon join in the fun to pose and take photos! We even improvise and used whether props we have to enhance the shot! Like Noon's camera, the brochure, and me wearing my hat!
I must admit that i'm not very gd at posing and below are some of my shots..

But i must say.. i'm much much better behind the camera! :D
There are even behind the scene shots!! wahaha..
After walking through the whole park and collecting stamps along the way, we went to get our certificate!

After that we headed back to Downtown Vancouver. At the ferry terminal, we finally got to glimpse clear skies over Downtown Vancouver. Nothing is covered in mist! :D
We then headed back up to Vancouver Lookout for a view of Vancouver in the daytime!

(Part of Gouse Mountain behind me! what we couldn't see at Stanley Park yesterday)
Then we went to Robson Street (the main shopping district in Downtown) to walk around and do a little shopping. We stayed there for abt an 1 hour before heading back to our hostel to collect our bags.

As we were walking back to the hostel, the sun began to set, and the sky just became super duper gorgeous! *pretty!*
We have left a previously rainy misty but now sunny Vancouver for a misty Seattle. (what made it worse was Seattle had been sunny during our stay in Vancouver -_-''')
But no complaints! at least not all 4 days were rainy.. yay! Vancouver conquered!
