Museum of Flight

25th October 2008 (Sat): Museum of Flight
Weekends! My first weekend off without any fieldtrips! Headed down to the Museum of Flight to see see look look :) [If only the workers at Boeing Factory are not on strike, else I think the Boeing Factory would have been more interesting.]

The Museum of Flight is an air and space museum which showcases the history of aviation, planes during WWI and WWII, Boeing, Space Travels etc.

-WWI and WWII air planes-

One couple held their wedding in the museum.. they must be aviation fans!

My Lunch:
Turkey with Potatoes.. but it was tooo salty.. yucks..
Interior of the bridge outside the museum that links the museum to the air field.. heard that this bridge just opened on the day we arrived.. quite cool cause when u walk through it.. there is the sound of plane flying pass..

The main attraction for me was the air field where the old Air Force One was on display, and also the Concorde! Can go up onto the plane and walk through it too!
The old Air Force One was really small.. no bedroom (which I think the current Air Force One has) and Concorde was really squeezy.. passageway between seats are so narrow.. :p but nevertheless it was interesting to walk through it!
Air Force One!

Concorde!
Other planes on display..

The Red Barn is the original building of the factory of Boeing.. Now that Boeing has move to another bigger facility (long time ago), this building is now a museum for the history of Boeing..

At night, as Rita, Sila and I was walking to convenient store or something we suddenly saw this big group of people walking and playing instruments. I think they were having some pre-game activities (for the football game the next day) but they were like jack the piper.. because once they were in front of a certain hall, people from that hall would come running out with instruments and together, in synch, they would start playing a tune and dance to it.. haha.. it was fun to watch and I video it down! :)
