Trip to the zoo!! (and Target)

Today me, Cynthea and Noon (a thai gal we met through the orientation) visited the Woodland Zoo in Seattle! All thanks to Noon, we manage to get free tickets to enter the zoo cause her host family mum works in the zoo itself! wohoo~~ save $15! :):) some of the photos that i took :)

We had lunch at this hot dog place inside the zoo.. i didn't buy anything from there cos i brought my own lunch:

While eating lunch, we were joined by a bunch of ducks and squirrel. They keep running around our legs hoping we give them food.

After the zoo, Noon needed to buy bedsheets for her bed and we headed down to Target (something like K-Mart, Walmart) at Northgate Mall. This mall is like the nearest and only shopping centre that is near the city. Been wanting to come here for quite some time.. (:p to shop!)

As we had to walk through the mall to get to Target, the sales and clothes at the various shops there was so attractive that we keep had to tell each other that our purpose to this place was to go to Target.. our target is Target! wahaha... quite funny.. cos we keep seeing things that we like.. heading back there tmr to finally shop! woohoo!

After buying all the stuff we need (i bought for myself a comforter! too cold at night to survive with just a blanket), we were so tired from waking up so early to head to the zoo and from all the walking. Headed home and i went to settle my own dinner.

Ate this for dinner, some meat with vege sandwich..
(again i forgot to take a photo before eating it :p )

If you have read my previous post, you wld noe i still have abt US$22 to spend by today... so i bought the below and my lunch and dinner (those pict. above)

So i've enough snacks to last me for 3 mths! Don't even know whether i can finish them..

and on a side note.. the weather here is getting chilly.. for the first time since i been here, the sky was covered with clouds.. i couldn't even see the nice blue sky :( thus there was no sun and it was colder then usual until the late afternoon.. where the sun came out! :D but i still dun like the glaring sun..
hope the rain dun come so soon!
