Rotary Boat Cruise with FIUTS

The weather has been very good to us! :) yesterday was raining all day, but today for the rotary boat cruise organised by FIUTS, it only drizzle for a while before we board the cruise.. but after that the sun came out!! and we had nice views of Seattle skyline and abt Puget Sound. :):)

Our lunch on board the cruise: Seattle Skyline and along Puget Sound:

International students at UW:
Return trip back to the pier:

Was lucky to meet some Africans who are at UW under a fellowship program sponsored by the U.S government.
Claudine lives in West Africa (but i forgot which part :p) Got to learn more abt Africa through our chat :)
And.. there was a lot of leftovers from lunch.. so we (me, Cynthea, Noon) took back 2 bags of salad, 2 bags of chicken and 1 bag of pizzas.. In the end i took back 1 bag of chicken and there was a lot in that 1 ziplock bag.. total of 10 pieces.. can last me for a couple of meals.. wahaha..
But i did offer the chicken to my fellow room mates and am glad i did!
Managed to really talk with 2 of them (one's from vietnam another from korea-LA) over dinner.. before that.. everyone in the room was just on a hi-bye basis.. or the westerners tend to stick together.. and we decided we should be initiative and talk to the westerners since they dun want to start talking to us.. hope it works!
anw.. see the dark clouds looming over downtown.. its gg to rain soon.. (or rather it rained when i was blogging.. lol)
that human figure is a permanent art installation in front of the Seattle Art Museum :):)
