Joyce in USA!: Shopping!

7th Sept 2008 (U.S. Time)

Bright and sunny Sunday morning after a terrible and wet day on Saturday due to Tropical Storm Hannah that was passing through the Eastern Coast of USA.

-Looking at this, wld you even know there was a storm at NY the day before resulting in many places of NY to be flooded?-

After 8 days tour around Eastern USA and Canada, together with a tour guide that does not believe in shopping (meaning he gets his commission not from us buying things but from getting us to eat at a specific restaurant), i finally got to shop today!! Forever 21!!! yippee!!!

As we were back at the hotel we stayed in during our first night at Newark (New Jersey), the only place that was accessible to us was the Jersey Gardens Outlet Store. It wld have been too expensive to commute to Manhattan and back.. not worth the time and money.

So it was shopping at Jersey Gardens Outlet Store! TAX FREE!!

After taking 2 shuttle buses, we finally reached! the place was huge!

ok.. this long never ending stretch of shops as seen in the picture x 8

that's the size of the whole mall.. and the shops there are huge!

can say like the whole size of vivo city minus all the big open spaces.. and just put in 8 of the passerway as since in the above picture..

why can't s'pore have something like this?? :(

After shopping at Forever 21 (that's the first shop i headed to) and spending abt an hour there.. and then walking around to various other shops, we stop for lunch..

After lunch was just randomly heading to stores like Abercombie & Fitch, Gap, Urban Outfitters, Payless Shoes, Nike etc.

Spent quite some time finding boots.. but could not find a nice one.. :(

After shopping from 11.15a.m - 4.15a.m (with 1hour lunch in between), we have to head home.. cos daddy not feeling well.. he sat on the benches outside the shops and nap while me and my mom went shopping (or rather is only me who went shopping :p)
