Canada - Niagara Falls & Toronto (Part 2)

In Toronto, first up was a boat ride on Lake Ontario. The ride was boring as there was nothing to see but small islands that was all green.. it was like parks for the ppl of Toronto. But from the boat, we could take the whole city skyline of Toronto. :)

Then we went up to the CN (Canadian National) tower to look at the views of Toronto from the top :):)

The views were ok..

but the nice part was the Glass Floor :):)
We were laying on the floor, sitting down on it to try to take photos with the views from the floor. Also kind of hilarious to see ppl being so scared to step on the floor..

Found this huge polar bear in the gift shop.. *hugs*

After that we went to the Nathan Philips Square to see the City Hall of Toronto. Both the new building and old building was side by side.. and even though the old building was nice architecturally, i found the new building to be quite unique.. curved and windows only on one side.. but i still dun understand why it is like that.. since the purpose of the orientation and design of the building is not to block out the sun rays.. why is it like that? so that other buildings nearby cannot see what the ppl inside are doing??

After photo-taking with the buildings, we headed off to see the University of Toronto.. noe nothing much abt that uni or why we visited it.. maybe the architecture?? hahah no idea..
After such a long day, we headed off to eat 'Ding Tai Fung'.. yar.. why eat that in the USA when there are so many branches in S'pore and i dun even go there to eat when in S'pore.. lol.. cos our tour guide was saying that this place was so delicious and that New York does not have it and he was so happy that he managed to find one branch in Canada and his tour gp wld be the only lucky one to be able to eat there cos he on very gd terms with the boss.. (he does not get it when we told him within Singapore itself there is like 4 branches..)

What attracted us to agree to eat there was the free flow of xiao long bao-pork, pawn and !! haha.. the thought of eating as much xiao long bao as i want!!! woohoo..
But sad to say.. the food was just average.. even the xiao long bao (i feel) is not as nice as crystal jade.. the only thing that was nice was the fried rice with prawns that was very crispy in lettuce (the 3rd pict)

After that, we retire for the night at Hotel Des Seigneurs..

phew.. finally finish Niagara Falls and Toronto..
