24hr 59mins +++

Greetings from USA!!!

I’ve arrived safe and sound in Newwark on 31st Aug 7.20a.m. Singapore time (which is actually 30th Aug 7.20p.m Eastern Time) :) Meaning i have taken more then 24hr 59mins to reach US.. all thanks to a delay in the flight from Detroit.

30th Aug started with my parents and I reaching Changi Airport at 3.30a.m, check in our luggage and shortly after at about 4.00p.m, Ernest & Lynn, Sydney & Carol, Xu Wen & Dawn arrived! :):):) We then headed to Changi Kopitiam to have early early breakfast and Wai Kei & Xue Mei arrived halfway through our meal. Chit chat for a while and then photo taking!

Flight Number 1: Singapore to Narita

While waiting for the connecting flight to Detroit, bought Ramen and dumpling to eat as airline food really cannot make it.

Flight Number 2: Narita to Detroit

When onboard the plane and got a 'nice' little surprise.. there wasn't any personal entertainment system! somemore it was a 11 hr ++ flight!!

Nothing better to do.. but to eat, sleep, eat.. time seems to pass super slowly

Decided to take more photos from the plane.. (a combination of the view of the pacific ocean and some parts of USA)

Manage to catch Sunrise from the plane:

Finally reached Detroit with some time to spare as flight was delayed by half an hour.

There was a skytrain within the terminal itself as the terminal was super super long..

Flight Number 3: Detriot to Newark

By the time we reached Newark, the sun was already setting..

Met up with one of the representative of the tour agency and he brought us to the hotel Sheraton Newak to stay for the night.
