Weekends: Shopping, House Warming, Fildalgo Islands

11th September 2008 (Sat)

Decided to go shopping at the factory outlet again because there was the Columbus Day Weekend Sale! (more discounts on top of the factory outlet discounts!) But the difference is.. I went there alone :p yup.. took the 2 hours bus ride to and fro alone.. that day was a cold day and there was midst all around.

-Mist covering downtown Seattle-

-Mist at the terminal.. waiting for my 2nd bus-
-One of the buses i took :)-
Shopping was fruitful i guess :p didn't buy any branded stuff even though i think that is suppose to be the main purpose for gg factory outlet. but i bought around 7 items for US$70+ hee.. 6 tops and 1 pants.. 5 of them from Gap.. :p Gap stuff at the factory outlet is super duper cheap.. wahaha.. luv it!

Spent my whole morning and afternoon at the outlet and Walmart nearby. but have to head home at abt 4pm to be able to make it for a housewarming at night!

- I luv this view of the skyline and the expressway!-

I was invited by the President of the Singapore Student Association (SSA) to a housewarming on Sat night and me and Cynthea actually thought it was suppose to be a singapore thingy party.. but turn out it was really a housewarming and the majority of the people there wasn't from Singapore.. People there were the friends of the 5 ppl (the President of SSA included) who had rent a house to stay and there were ppl from all over the world.. i bought Sila and Rita along and the whole bunch of us were the youngest in the whole hse..

but we did manage to talk to a handful of Singaporeans who were either UW alumni or student or Singaporeans working in Seattle.. and most of them works in Microsoft!! how cool is that! they have open up an invitation to bring us on a tour of Microsoft HQ!!! woohoo~ now is up to us to faster decide on which day we want to go :):):) overall it's nice to meet up with Singaporeans (then dun need to speak really proper English.. :p)
